Terms, Conditions and privacy policy

Last updated: 30 January 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of digital courses and resources provided by Your Spanish Roadmap (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or accessing our content, you agree to these Terms.

1) About us

2) What you’re buying

When you purchase a course (a “Roadmap”), you receive digital access to course content hosted online, which may include:

  • video lessons

  • audio prompts

  • PDFs and downloadable resources

  • interactive activities

  • updates or improvements (if we choose to provide them)

This is a digital product/service delivered online. No physical goods are shipped.

3) Access, delivery & technical requirements

  • Access is delivered digitally, typically immediately after purchase (or via email with login instructions).

  • You are responsible for having a working internet connection and a compatible device.

  • If you don’t receive access within a reasonable time, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll help you.

4) Accounts & personal use

  • Your purchase grants access to one individual (you).

  • You must not share your login, course materials, or downloads with others.

  • We may suspend access if we detect account sharing or misuse.

5) Pricing, payment & taxes

  • Prices are shown at checkout in the currency displayed.

  • You authorise us (and our payment providers) to charge the payment method you provide.

  • Where applicable, taxes (such as VAT) may be added or included depending on your location and the checkout system.

6) License & intellectual property

All course content (videos, audios, PDFs, text, visuals, branding) is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal learning only.

You may not:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly share any part of the course

  • upload content to shared drives, forums, WhatsApp groups, or file-sharing sites

  • record, screen-capture, or republish course videos/audios (except for your own private study notes)

7) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the course materials for commercial teaching/resale

  • misrepresent our content as your own

  • attempt to access areas of the platform you are not authorised to use

  • interfere with platform security or functionality

8) Founding Members terms

If you purchase a “Founding Members” offer, you receive the benefits described on the checkout/landing page at the time of purchase. These may include:

  • discounts on future Roadmaps

  • early access windows

  • feedback opportunities

Founding Members benefits are tied to the purchasing account/email and are not transferable.

We reserve the right to:

  • adjust how we run polls/feedback (format/timing) while keeping the spirit of the benefit

  • limit Founding benefits if misuse is detected (e.g., discount sharing, reselling, account sharing)

9) Refund policy: 7-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.

To request a refund:

  1. Email [email protected] within 7 days of purchase

  2. Include your order email/receipt and the name of the course

  3. We will process your refund back to the original payment method

After 7 days, refunds are not available except where required by law.

10) EU consumer right of withdrawal (digital content)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.

However, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, that right can be lost if:

  • you request immediate access/performance during the withdrawal period, and

  • you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once access/performance begins.

How this applies here:
Because our courses are digital and typically delivered immediately, by completing your purchase you request immediate access to the content. Where the checkout requires it, you will also be asked to acknowledge the loss of the 14-day withdrawal right once access begins.

Even where withdrawal rights are waived due to immediate access, our 7-day money-back guarantee still applies (Section 9) as an additional, voluntary policy.

11) Disclaimer (learning outcomes)

We provide educational content designed to help you learn Spanish. Your results depend on factors like consistency, practice, starting level, and time invested.

We do not guarantee:

  • specific exam results

  • fluency by a certain date

  • any specific personal outcome

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost time, lost profits).

  • Our total liability related to your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the course.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

13) Changes to the course and the Terms

We may update course content to improve clarity, fix errors, or add materials.
We may also update these Terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase, unless a change is required by law.

14) Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be handled according to applicable Spanish law and consumer protection rules.
